Biography

As the Graduate Program Manager, Melissa is responsible for the administration and coordination of program and course development initiatives, scheduling, instructional appointments and evaluations, and semester offerings and registration for the Faculty's graduate programs (MPH, MSc, and PhD); academic advice and administrative support to prospective and registered graduate students; and confirmation of credentials/graduation requirements.

Melissa completed her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University and is currently completing her Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) at the SFU Beedie School of Business. With 20 years of experience in academic administration at SFU, she has led and supported initiatives in advising, program operations, and student services across multiple faculties. Melissa is committed to fostering student success and creating supportive academic environments that help graduate students achieve their educational and professional aspirations.
