Job Opportunity - Project Manager - Healthy Cities Research Initiative, CIHR

The Project Manager’s primary responsibility will be providing project management and strategic support to the Institute-led Healthy Cities Research Initiative. This initiative is an IPPH-led collaboration with six other CIHR Institutes. Therefore, the Project Manager will be required to work with other partner Institutes and Ottawa-based staff to develop and manage the Initiative’s funding opportunities, set strategic agendas and provide leadership for the Initiative’s committees. This position requires significant partnership development and collaboration across diverse internal and external stakeholders, including organizing and delivering related meetings and events. This position reports to the Assistant Director, but must be able to work well independently with minimal day-to-day supervision and as part of a diverse and geographically separated team.
