International Health Trends and Perspectives (IHTP)

The International Health Trends and Perspectives (IHTP) is an academic, double-blind peer reviewed scientific journal housed within the Public Knowledge Project Open Journal Systems at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. It is currently indexed in the Directory of Open Journal System (DOAJ) and Google Scholar and is under consideration with EBSCO. IHTP's mission is to increase dialogue and dissemination of theoretical, empirical, and practical knowledge related to key topics of health and wellness from around the world. Further goals of the IHTP include:

• Promote the dissemination of graduate students' scholarly work
• Enhance graduate students' familiarity with the peer review publication process
• Offer up to 5 graduate students the opportunity to be mentored into the role of Associate Editors. Length of mentorship is over a one-year period with variable start dates.
