Job Opportunity - Community Based Researcher, SFU Science and Technology for Aging Research and 411 Seniors Centre Society, Vancouver, BC

Simon Fraser University’s Science and Technology for Aging Research (STAR) Institute and the 411 Seniors Centre Society are inviting applications for a community-based researcher position. 

Community-based services provide on-the-ground localized expertise to support older adults’ quality of life, sense of social connectedness, and empowerment. The 411 Seniors Centre Society in Vancouver and SFU’s STAR Institute are collaborating on a community-based project to enhance local information and referral services to better connect seniors and caregivers to the resources in their community. The Community-Based Researcher will be part of a province-wide Navigation & Peer Support (NPS) initiative sponsored, in part, through the United Way Lower Mainland Healthy Aging Strategy.
