Health Promotion Canada 2019 Recognition Awards

 My name is Joel Kaushansky and I am the Recognition Awards Coordinator at Health Promotion Canada. Health Promotion Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting health promoters from every province and territory in Canada, and sharing tools, resources, and strategies to practice health promotion effectively, ethically, and comprehensively.

 In accordance with its mission to advance the practice of health promotion in Canada, Health Promotion Canada is pleased to announce the launch of its 2019 Recognition Awards. This competition aims to elevate health promoters at various stages in their careers, and celebrate those who are making significant contributions in the field of health promotion across Canada. Individuals, organizations, and teams/groups can be nominated for one of seven award categories: Rising Star Award, Mid-Career Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Organization Achievement Award, Team/Group Award, Student Award, and Academic Award. 

 The competition opens on August 20, 2019 and closes on October 21, 2019 at 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time.

Recognition Award winners will be announced via teleconference in December 2019. Each winner will receive a one year complimentary membership to Health Promotion Canada, a 2019 Recognition Award Certificate, and the publication of their professional profile on the Health Promotion Canada website.

Mon nom est Joel Kaushansky et je suis le coordonnateur des Prix de reconnaissance de Promotion de la santé Canada. Promotion de la santé Canada est une organisation à but non lucratif dédiée à la création d’un réseau dynamique de promoteurs de la santé provenant de chaque province et territoire du Canada. Ce réseau facilite l’échange d’outils, de ressources et de stratégies afin de pratiquer la promotion de la santé efficacement, éthiquement et de façon exhaustive. 

Conformément à sa mission de faire avancer la pratique de la promotion de la santé au Canada, c’est avec grand plaisir que Promotion de la santé Canada annonce le lancement des Prix de reconnaissance 2019. Ce concours permet de souligner et de célébrer les promoteurs de la santé, à divers stades de leur carrière, qui ont contribué de façon significative au domaine de la promotion de la santé au Canada. Nous offrons six catégories de prix : le Prix de l’étoile montante, le Prix de la mi-carrière, le Prix d’excellence pour l’ensemble de ses réalisations, le Prix d’excellence pour une organisation, le Prix d’excellence d’équipe ou d’un groupe, le Prix étudiant et le Prix académique. 

L’appel aux soumissions est le 20 août 2019 et la date limite pour soumettre une candidature est le 21 octobre 2019 à 23h59 heure standard du Pacifique. 

Les lauréats des Prix de reconnaissance seront annoncés lors d’une téléconférence en décembre 2019. Chaque lauréat recevra une adhésion gratuite d'un an à Promotion de la santé Canada, un certificat de Prix de reconnaissance et son profil sera publié sur le site web de Promotion de la santé Canada.
