Research Opportunity - Life Sciences Fellowship, Innovate Calgary

September 10, 2020

My name is Liam and I am a Junior Analyst at the Life Science Innovation Hub. We run a program focused on researchers and entrepreneurs who would like to start a life sciences-based company called the Life Sciences Fellowship. The Life Sciences Fellowship is a full-time, two-year program that provides experiential learning in research and development commercialization/startup creation for life sciences and digital health entrepreneurs.

We have recently launched the call for applications for the 3rd cohort and thought the members and affiliates of the Master Public Health program at Simon Fraser University might be interested in learning more about and applying for this exciting opportunity.

Successful Fellows will receive:

-          Professional development programming to rapidly upskill and learn to navigate the commercialization process and attract investment;

-          Mentorship from Expert Advisors;

-          Access to equipped life sciences lab space in the Life Sciences Innovation Hub.

Criteria

Applicants must:

-          Legally be eligible to work in Canada;

-          Able to participate full-time in the Fellowship for two years;

-          Reside in Alberta during the Fellowship and maintain a company presence, or office, at the Life Sciences Innovation Hub.
