ALUMNI PANELISTS:

Carolina Guerra (MPH 2023)
Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes - Epidemiologist

I’m a medical doctor from Mexico interested in health systems research to improve clinical outcomes. As an epidemiologist, my work focused on mental health and substance use research using provincial health records to improve clinical guidelines for providers and clients. Being someone with many interests, what I love about public health is that I can apply my MPH skills and my clinical experience to different subject areas. I’m always looking to learn something new and improve health equity in our communities.

Keturah Kalio (MPH 2024)
Midwives Association of BC - Data Analyst, Health Surveillance

Keturah is a Data Analyst with the Midwives Association of BC, where she leads workforce, compensation, and health systems analytics to support contract negotiations and strategic planning. Her work focuses on translating health data into clear, actionable insights that inform policy discussions and advance equitable access to maternity care across BC. With a background in public health surveillance and applied epidemiology, Keturah has experience supporting provincial health initiatives through data analysis, dashboard development, and performance measurement. She is passionate about strengthening data infrastructure to improve decision-making and promote sustainable, community-centered health systems.
