TEACHING ASSISTANT & TUTOR-MARKER POSITIONS 

FALL TERM 2020  

All positions have a closing date of July 13, 2020. Please apply at the Department of Geography website.

Fall 2020 courses will be delivered via remote instruction. All TAs need to be comfortable working and supporting undergraduate students in an online environment such as Canvas; some courses may require additional qualifications as per the postings below. Please note that training will be available through SFU’s Centre for Educational Excellence and is recommended (overview, TA/TM Day, Remote Teaching Resources for TAs).

SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS

All positions have a closing date of 9 am, Monday, June 22nd, 2020.  Please apply at the Department of Geography website.  

All courses posted for Fall 2020 will be delivered remotely. Please note that outlines and basic remote design decisions (asynchronous vs synchronous for lectures and labs) will need to be in place by July 2, 2020, to allow undergraduate students to make an informed decision upon enrollment.
