Beckman Scintillation Counter
The Beckman LS6000SC liquid scintillation counter (LSC) is located in SSB6160. For access and training, please contact the MBB Equipment Technician (details below). If you notice any problems with the instrument, please contact the MBB Equipment Technician or the Hot Lab.
ATTENTION: All users must be trained on how to use the LSC AND have their SFU radiation safety training certificate.
The Beckman LS6000SC benchtop liquid scintillation counter (LSC) provides accurate, automated counting of the level of beta radiation (such 32P, 3H, 14C, 35S) in radioactively-tagged samples.
