Track a Hike (mobile app)
By: Michelle Cho, Ricky Lin
Course: IAT 359 Mobile Computing
Description: Track a Hike is a personal exercise tracking app used to record the user’s walking/running activities. The app primarily aims to capture the user’s hiking experience so the in-app photo album function helps to contain sights from the trails. The secondary goal of the app is to support users who are focused on exercising. Each exercise session records stats such as time taken, steps walked, distance traveled, speed, and calories burned. These stats and associated photos are saved as a record that can be reviewed altogether. This provides a contained space for users to revisit hiking memories or review their exercise progress.
