An official transcript is a complete record of your academic history at Simon Fraser University up until the day the transcript is produced. It lists classes in progress, courses you have taken, grades received, credentials awarded and other information relating to your undergraduate and graduate academic career at SFU. Course work taken at other institutions that is being credited towards your program at SFU will not appear on your official transcript, but it will list the name of the institution at which transfer credit was taken as well as the total number of transfer credit received. We suggest you review your unofficial transcript prior to placing an order for your official transcript. If your grade has not been posted for a course on your unofficial transcript, it will not be posted for your official transcript. Credential conferral will only be documented on your transcript after you receive your Senate letter. See instructions here on how to see your unofficial transcript.
All official transcripts are printed on security paper with the Simon Fraser University seal and signature of the Registrar. Official transcripts are available to current students, former students and alumni. All outstanding accounts must be cleared before an official transcript is released.
