Psychology Declaration
Declaration means formal approval into the program. Newly admitted students including transfer students are undeclared.
If you are waiting to declare into the PSYC Major, Joint Major, or Extended Minor, we recommend declaring into the Minor first and then switching.
Declare once you have completed the following:
- PSYC Minor: PSYC 100, PSYC 102, and PSYC 201 (C or better) and a CGPA of 2.00.
- PSYC Major, Joint Majors, and Extended Minor: PSYC 100, PSYC 102, PSYC 201 (C or better), PSYC 210 and a CGPA of 2.00. Only PSYC 201 has a grade requirement.
Declarations are only accepted before the declaration deadlines. If your request was submitted after the deadline, it will be queued for the next deadline:
- November 1 (Spring enrollment)* Note that this deadline has been extended until Friday Nov. 10th, 2023.
- March 1 (Summer enrollment)
- July 1 (Fall enrollment)
