Karrmen Crey is Stó:lō and a member of the Cheam First Nation. She is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University, where her research examines Indigenous film, television, and digital media; institutions of media culture; Indigenous film festivals and conventions; gender and Indigenous digital media histories; and Black and Indigenous futurisms and critical theory.
