Mar 7 - Hanna Cho, NGX Interactive "Technology & Design for Museum & Cultural Spaces"

Talk Description:

Museums, libraries, and cultural institutions are quickly shedding their reputation as staid, conservative, and technology-averse spaces. In the past decade, they have become keen adopters of digital tools to transform access to, and experiences within their institutions. In this talk, Hanna will describe some of these approaches, as well as discuss the ways in which the social shaping of technology, approaches to exhibit design, audience engagement, and organizational culture, come together to shape how digital is impacting museum practice.
