Rock Leung (Samsung Research)
Rock Leung from Samsung Research will be joining via video conference from Samsung’s office in Vancouver. The theme of this colloquium focuses on reflecting on practice in industry. We will explore Rock’s trajectory through graduate school and then discuss and reflect on his roles in industry. Obtaining PhD can set one up for doing different kinds of work in industry outside of academia. In this colloquium, we will take a deep dive into what these ‘kinds of work’ are like.
