Program Goal
The goal of the program is to introduce graduate students and post-doctoral fellows to practical business problems and provide them with the opportunity to apply their scientific and technical expertise to address the needs of participating businesses, as well as to create a vehicle that will facilitate increased private investment in research and development. The program is open to all research areas.
Application Procedures
Connect Canada’s online database makes it easy to apply and register with the program. Once registered, students and industry representatives can submit an internship proposal. Students can view and apply to available opportunities, while industry representatives can use the database to manage the hiring process, from viewing resumes and arranging interviews through to making offers.
Award Payment
Questions about award payment and setup will be directed to SFU's Office of Research Services.
