Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Awards for Excellence
Simon Fraser University presents the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Award for Excellence annually to recognize outstanding contributions to graduate education at SFU in three areas: supervision, leadership, and service.
The award for supervision recognizes faculty members who excel in the supervision of graduate students.
The award for leadership celebrates individuals who have made signficant contributions to leadership in graduate student development and the graduate student enterprise.
The award for service is presented to a member of the University's staff who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to graduate education.
Who can nominate?
Nominations can come from graduate students, staff and/or faculty members.
For 2022: Nomination deadline is March 25, 2022
(Nominations are normally received by March 15)
