I am the General Manager of a senior community in Surrey, British Columbia. I am a passionate and hard worker with more than of experience in the field.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO SFU?

After doing some research, I found out that SFU offered the program I was seeking to upgrade my studies. Moreover, it is a very well-known university.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?

The EMBA at the SFU provides the attendees with the necessary theory and practice of the latest managerial approaches and technics to enhance the productivity and profitability of any organization.

WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT SFU?

Though I have not started yet after checking the program contents I am eager to get started, as it involves the necessary tools to apply at my job.

HAVE YOU BEEN THE RECIPIENT OF ANY MAJOR OR DONOR-FUNDED AWARDS? IF SO, PLEASE TELL US WHICH ONES AND A LITTLE ABOUT HOW THE AWARDS HAVE IMPACTED YOUR STUDIES AND/OR RESEARCH.

I have not received it yet but the CEO of my organization offered me a scholarship to cover some of my expenses in this program.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PROGRAM/POSTDOC POSITION TO SOMEONE STILL SEARCHING FOR A PROGRAM OR POSTDOC POSITION?

Being a manager is full of challenges and rewards. Therefore, an EMBA program will shape up those skills already acquired while adding new knowledge which will ease my work.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE?

One must never give up our dreams, and one must always seek improvement.
