WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO SFU?
Great chance of mountain living and prestigious professors.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?
The goal of my research is to motivate people to contribute their data to help Machine Learning models make wise decisions while at the same time people would not lose too much privacy for such contribution.
WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT SFU?
There are a few things I enjoy about my research at SFU. Firstly, I work and make friends with really smart people at SFU. Secondly, I am grateful to have a very supportitve supervisor who is always with me when I get stuck with my research. Last but not the least, I have the chance to work on the area I am deeply into.
