Malvern MicroCal PEAQ-ITC microcalorimeter
The Malvern MicroCal PEAQ-ITC microcalorimeter is located in the MBB Department. For access and training, please contact the MBB Manager, Laboratory Operations (details below).
The Malvern MicroCal PEAQ-ITC microcalorimeter is a low volume isothermal titration calorimeter, measuring the heat change that occurs when two substances interact and thus allowing for label-free in solution study of biomolecular interactions. The instrument gives direct measurement of all binding parameters in a single experiment and can analyze weak to high affinity binders using as little as 10 ug sample.
