FASS Camps
New to SFU this upcoming Fall (September) 2023 term? Excited to discover the many academic, social and professional opportunities and options available to you as a FASS student?
Attend FASS Camps, a (3 day) in-person workshop series at either the Burnaby or Surrey campus from June 27 to June 29 to kickstart your SFU journey.
During the FASS Camps Burnaby (9:30am - 3:00pm daily), you will:
- Meet FASS professors from departments like Psychology, Public Policy, Criminology, Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies and Political Science and experience some of their best lectures
- Receive course planning support for the upcoming registration for Fall term with our First Year Academic Advisors
- Make some new FASS friends and explore the many vibrant FASS programs and departments with current FASS student mentors
- Discover key buildings, study spots, eateries and lounge spaces around your campus
During the FASS Camps Surrey (9:30am - 2:30pm daily), you will:
- Be a FASS One Surrey student or want to study at the Surrey campus in the first year
- Explore the many vibrant FASS programs and departments with current FASS student mentors
- Meet FASS professors and lecturers from across the faculty and experience their best lectures
- Receive course planning support for the upcoming registration for Fall term with Academic Advisors
- Make some new FASS friends and learn from senior students
- Discover key buildings, study spots, eateries and lounge spaces around your campus
Daily snacks and lunch will be provided! You can attend only one campus location (Burnaby or Surrey). FASS Camps is not an overnight event. Limited capacity at each venue, $50 attendance fee.
