CIHR CGS & Doctoral Awards
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is committed to supporting graduate students through their Health Research Training Award Programs, which includes the Canada Graduate Scholarship Doctoral Awards (CGS-D) program. This program provides support to students who are pursuing a doctoral degree in a health-related field in Canada.

Competition Timeline (2022)
|Student deadline to submit the full application on ResearchNet. If the deadline falls on a weekend or on a federal statutory holiday, applications must be submitted before 4:30 p.m. (PST) the following business day.|
||University Scholarship Selection Committee (USSC) deadline to make final decisions|
|November 10-16||Students who have been selected to go forward can update their applications|
|November 22||FINAL SFU submission deadline|
