LINDA ROHR, A CONTINUING PHD STUDENT AND TEACHING ASSISTANT.
Year Graduated: 2023
Program: MA in Educational Psychology
Linda Rohr has had an extensive journey before completing the Master of Arts in Educational Psychology. Before coming to the Faculty of Education, she completed a master’s in engineering, taught English as a lecturer in Thailand and has become a mom of twins. During her maternity leave, she explored her interests in psychology through online courses. That is when she decided to pursue a master's degree in educational psychology.
“My experience in the program has made me realize that becoming a good educational psychologist is an ongoing process of self-improvement. This program allowed me to delve deeply into one’s own thoughts and life. It also made me develop a heightened sense of empathy towards others' journey.”

Dr. Phil Winne gave me invaluable advice on structuring a course schedule that worked with my busy lifestyle and on navigating life in academia. During the pandemic, my supervisor, Dr. Robyn Ilten-Gee, generously prepared recordings and extended invitations to engage in online discussions while I was stuck in Budapest and its time zone.”
