GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • The Indigenous Gathering Space was created to provide a welcoming gathering space for Indigenous students, staff, faculty, and community that supports our emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual well-being
  • Provide a place for Faculty of Education Indigenous gatherings, learning opportunities, and celebrations

Please Help Us in Maintaining a Safe and Welcoming Space by Observing the Following:

  • Please use the space with kindness and respect.
  • Please clean up after yourself and leave the space as you found it.
  • Please label any food that you are leaving in the fridge so that we know which program area it belongs to and when it may be expired.
  • No alcohol in the Indigenous Gathering Space.

Please note that many gatherings occur in this space; we ask that you please respect the work that is taking place by entering only when you have booked the space or when there are drop-in hours.

This is a living document developed with the Indigenous Education Reconciliation Council (IERC) and will grow and evolve as we do.
