Our master's programs in Arts Education provide students with knowledge to help develop many skills that can be implemented in a variety of traditional and non-traditional educative environments. The Arts Education MEd program is a course work only degree culminating in a portfolio/ interview examination. All students enter graduate work in Arts Education through the MEd route.

In this program, you will develop your educational practice in curriculum design and pedagogy applicable to a wide range of formal and informal educational settings. Through engaging with educational theory, research, and philosophy, you will expand your understanding of curriculum development with a view to expanding your capacity to engage and lead in curriculum design attentive to socio-historical contexts in a variety of settings from K-12 schools, ECE and post-secondary to museums, art galleries, health care centres and forests.

Our Educational Psychology Master's program leads to the Master of Arts (MA) or a Master of Education (MEd) degree. It blends studies of theories, empirical research, and research methodologies that lead to broad knowledge of the field of educational psychology and its relevance to education.

In this program you will learn research-based approaches to designing learning technologies, planning for their use and evaluating their impact on learning. Graduates work in schools, universities, corporate training, R&D labs and informal learning environments. Classes are held in late afternoons and evenings to accommodate working professionals.

The K-12 Educational Leadership cohort program is designed for practicing educators and administrators in the public, private, or independant K-12 school system. The program develops the research capacity and leadership skills of K-12 educators and will equip them for innovative practice in their contexts. It offers students a coherent program of study that integrates theory with practice, in addition to an opportunity to engage in a research project.
