Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation doctoral scholarship supports students with excellent academic records, engaged in work in the humanities and social sciences that contribute to the advancement of Canada and society, according to the Foundation's four themes.

By becoming a Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation scholarship recipient, you will benefit from:

• Up to $50,000 per year for three years
• Up to $20,000 per year for research and travel
• A mentorship and learning experience program
• A committed multidisciplinary community
• A network of over 500 alumni

The doctoral scholarship program is exclusively for doctoral students. For the 2027 scholarship, applicants must be in their first or second year of their doctoral program at the time of application.
