Victor Luna

Victor Luna discovered Fraser International College and Simon Fraser University through an international education event held in Mexico. While studying Computing Science at FIC, he realized that he was interested in more than just programming. Luckily, he was able to take advantage of FIC's FCAT pathway, which offers unique courses in Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) that combine skills in both programming and design. Upon entering SFU through the FCAT pathway, Victor has eagerly embarked on a journey to work at BlackBerry through SFU’s Co-operative Education (Co-op) program.

“BlackBerry treats me like a full time employee - not just as a student. The environment has been amazing, as they keep helping me try to reach my full potential, so I can perform better. I have learned a lot of things - not only school stuff like UI, UX and programming - but communication and presentation skills as well.”

Now nearing the end of his 12-month work term in Ontario, Victor will continue his studies in Interactive Arts and Technology in Fall 2014.
