Admission to Graduate Certificate or Diploma

Minimum Equivalent Qualifications

For admission to a Graduate Certificate or Diploma the requirement is a degree equivalent to a Simon Fraser University 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall grade equivalent to a B-.

Admission to Master's Program

Minimum Equivalent Qualifications

For admission to a master’s program, the qualifications listed are normally recognized as equivalent to a Simon Fraser University 4-year bachelor’s degree with minimum overall grade requirements.

Most SFU graduate programs will assess a Bologna compliant degree as equivalent to a 4-year degree.

Admission to Doctoral Program

Required Credential or Degree

Laurea Specialistica.

Master's degrees are uncommon in Italian universities (except some Business programs which award MBAs) - however Master's degrees do not hold legal status in Italy. Outstanding performance in the Laurea may warrant direct admission to the Doctoral degree.

Minimum Overall Academic Standing

B on ECTS; 26 on 30-point scale

English Language Proficiency Test

Applicants with a degree from this country are required to submit proof of English language competency.
