add/change/remove access to GS systems
Use the Access Form to add/edit/remove users to/from the systems and resources listed below.
For new user(s):
- The supervisor must request access.
- You will need the Personal Computing ID (eg. mbob). We cannot give access to sponsored/role accounts.
- The user will receive an email containing system links and related resources.
- We strongly encourage new users to attend a training session or schedule a 1:1 walk through with our office.

User Role Definitions (by system)

Student Reviewer - Access to application files and review forms, in the Reader, can only see Application and Review Column bins, can only move applications to waitlist, hold, GPC review. Cannot access quick reference card, cannot run queries or access another parts of Slate.
Faculty Reviewer - Access to application files and review forms, can run queries. Cannot access quick reference card, cannot access administrative side of Slate.
GPA Graduate Program Assistant - Access to view application files, faculty review forms, enter admissions decisions, applicant look up and modifications in administrative slate, access to run queries, access to committee and decision bins. GPA access is the only role with access to quick reference card.
GPC Graduate Program Chair - Access to view application files, faculty review forms, enter admissions decisions, applicant look up and modifications in administrative slate, access to run queries, access to committee and decision bins. Cannot access to quick reference card.
View Only - Access to Admin side of Slate to run queries and look up applicant records. Cannot edit or move applications, cannot access The Reader.

Student Reviewer and Faculty Reviewer - Access to All Applicants tab to filter and search award competitions for review.
GPA Graduate Program Assistant - Access to all tabs to open/close award competitions, check/modify applications and applicant lists, enter and save draft recommendations, run reports.
GPC Graduate Program Chair - Access to all tabs to open/close award competitions, check/modify applications and applicant lists, enter and save draft recommendations, run reports. GPC access is the only one who can submit award recommendations.
View Only (administrative role) - view only for designated units with access to All Applicants tab and Competition Records.
Notes:
- You can submit the request for multiple users in one form, by adding names and user IDs in comments.
- Issues with access? you may need to use an incognito window if using a role account.
- In Slate, users can run the goGRAD/Slate Access Query for a list of current users.
