FIND THE ADMISSION APPLICATION LIST OF SUPERVISORS
Units are responsible for updating their website and correspondence and letting Grad Studies know of any changes required in goGRAD.
This page outlines how to run a query in goGRAD/Slate that lists potential supervisors that appear in a dropdown in the admission application.

How to run potential supervisors query
On the Slate home page:
- Click the Resources tab and click the query called Potential Supervisors
- Click Run Query
- Use the scroll bars to view the data, use the search bar to search a name
Click Export to pull the data into a spreadsheet. You can use this spreadsheet to sort, filter the information.
For changes to the potential supervisor list:
- If < 3 changes send an email to gradap@sfu.ca
- If > 3 changes, export the query as an xls, highlight the changes and send the xls to gradap@sfu.ca. Do not change the column names or order.
Notes:
- This query contains: academic unit, supervisor names, supervisor computing ids.
- The potential supervisor list will roll over to the new cycle (as is) if we are not contacted to change/update.
