How to extend an application deadline (single applicant)
The applicant must have already selected your program in their admission application for these instructions to work:
- Click the application tab.
- Click Edit Application Details.
- On the pop up window, check the Extend Deadline box and enter a new deadline date
How to change or extend an application deadline (program)
There are 2 ways to change a program deadline, depending on your timing:
- If it is during the admission cycle, send an email to gradap@sfu.ca with the program name(s) and the new date.
- If you are setting up for a new cycle (ie., the cycle hasn't opened yet) include this information in the Application Set Up/Rollover Form. You can include other changes in this form including:
- open dates
- specialty deposit information
- days to accept an admission offer
- changes to your referee or reviewers questions
Note
If your selected date falls on a Saturday/Sunday or holiday, we recommend choosing the next business day.
