Where Guaranteed Funding Displays
Guaranteed Funding information becomes part of the student record in goSFU (admission funding table). There are a few systems where this data can be viewed:
- goGRAD/Slate: the queries and admission letters in Slate will only show the data at time of admission (original admission funding offer).
- eTRACS Grad Student Funding (GSF): the student and department reports show guaranteed funding per year and compares it to actual funding each student has received.
Note: goSFU and eTRACS will only show up to date information if maintained. If a unit maintains their own records and changes the guarantee they make to student without letting Graduate Studies know, these systems will be out of date.
How to Update Guaranteed Funding
If the value that displays in eTRACS is incorrect, or if you revised a funding guarantee after admission, use the Revised Funding Offer Form.
About revising a guaranteed funding:
- a new admission offer letter will not be issued.
- the update will not show in goGRAD/Slate.
- once the form is submitted, the new value should display in eTRACS within 5-7 business days.
