Research Interests
Within the broad and exciting field of Early Childhood Education, Dr. Margaret MacDonald's two primary research areas include Pedagogical Documentation and Intergenerational Teaching and Learning exploring image, formative assessment, heritage language revitalization and responsive curriculum development.
Starting in 2012 her research has been based at UniverCity Childcare where she has focused on children’s understanding of sustainability and stewardship within a living building.
