International Women's Day with SFU Faculty of Education

This year, International Women’s Day is celebrated under the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. Drs. Kristiina Kumpulainen and Yumiko Murai share their research and experiences on ways of fostering learning, and advancing equity and inclusiveness for all. In addition, we proudly highlight graduate students whose research is making a meaningful impact on the lives of girls and women all around the world.
Fostering Creative Learning
Dr. Yumiko Murai's research specializes in designing tools, activities, and environments that support creative learning for both in and out-of-school contexts.
