Construction Updates and Community Planning

Residence is expanding

We’re growing and that means big things for all residents. More amenities and common spaces. More programming opportunities for students to grow, develop and enjoy. More room to house more students. The Residence and Housing Master Plan outlines five (5) phases of new housing on the Burnaby Mountain campus. Phase 1, which is expected to open for the January 2021 term, will provide an additional 482 beds for residents. This construction as well as the ongoing renovation and maintenance to our current buildings will help us continue to provide living learning environments that are safe, attractive, well maintained, comfortable and welcoming all aimed at creating successful student experiences.
