Thank you for making the 2026 Science Rendezvous our biggest ever!

Nearly 3000 science enthusiasts came up to SFU Burnaby campus for science activities, presentations, demonstrations, and tours of the Trottier Observatory and Mesozoic Dinosaur garden. Representatives from the Science departments led table activities and demonstrations - including the ever popular Magic Science Shows and liquid nitrogen ice cream!

Our co-hosts were the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Vancouver, who brought a whole universe of exhibits in celebration of International Astronomy Day.
