Indigenizing Course Content
The Department IRC conducted a survey of Department practices, the results of the survey and recommendtions are summarized here.
Recognizing that there are debates on who/how should be Indigenizing Course content (Pidgeon, 2016), the need for change in educational structures and methods is necessary for Reconciliation. There are many opportunities to learn about the issues through workshop series, as well as variety of online resources for Decolonizing and Indigenizing Curriculum.
