Established in 1986, the Clinical Psychology Centre (CPC) is an outpatient mental health clinic and training centre that is part of the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University. The Clinical Psychology Program at SFU has been accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association since 1985.
Please call our intake line at 778-782-4720 to inquire about availability. If we do not have openings for the service you require, we can provide referral information. We do not take walk-ins for services or phone intakes.
Please see the links on the right side to learn more about our clinic.
If you are in crisis:
Please note that the CPC is not able to provide crisis services. If you are in need of immediate support, please call the BC Crisis Centre at 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433), visit them online, call 911, or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
COVID-19 UPDATE
The CPC is currently offering in-person services in accordance with SFU's Return to Campus safety plan. As a health care setting, masks are mandatory for those attending sessions at our clinic. All those visiting the clinic in person are required to self-assess for symptoms of COVID. The BC Self-Assessment Tool can be found here: https://bc.thrive.health
Please call us to reschedule and do not attend if exhibiting any symptoms. We will not be charging for late cancellations due to illness at this time.
Traffic Notice: Summer 2022 Construction and Road Work
Summer means construction and road work on campus. University Drive East will be affected from April until September. Please check the SFU traffic website for details about this and other ongoing projects and leave yourself extra time to get here, as roads may be blocked or operating at reduced traffic capacity.
