Research Expenses

The Department of Psychology provides research support to a maximum of $300 at the MA level and $400 at the PhD level.

This fund is for costs incurred by research activities that are directly related to the completion of your program, such as:

  • Professional membership fees
  • Books
  • Subscriptions
  • Software
  • Payments to research participants
  • Thesis printing and binding
  • If you are unsure if an expense is applicable, please contact psycfin@sfu.ca

ACQUIRING FUNDS

To access your funds from the Department of Psychology, you will need to create an expense report. Expense reports for research projects retroactively reimburse you. Instructions on how to file this report can be found below. Please note, if your supervisor has funds available for you, this will have to be accessed through a separate report.

Please use the following default account: Fund 11 | Department 2720 | Program 00000
