Five academics from different departments and faculties at Simon Fraser University, the University of Regina, and the University of Kansas will join Dr. Henry Daniel for a transdisciplinary discussion on Black Creativity in the Arts, Sciences, Technology, and Business. This discussion is motivated by the recognition that there is a disturbing lack of knowledge connections between Black faculty, students, and staff across our institutions, as well as in the communities that these institutions are meant to serve. The discussion will centre on the individual participants research and its usefulness to the Black communities they are connected to – or in too many cases, not connected to. Our hope is that the event will spark new and important connections between Black researchers, students, and staff, and their extended communities locally, nationally, and internationally.

Curated by Dr. Henry Daniel. Presented by the School for the Contemporary Arts.
