TPE play Harmony of the Spheres

Stir on HOLD ON LET GO

Here's Stir Vancouver on Theatre Replacement (which has SCA alumnus Maiko Yamamoto as Artistic Director and Yamamoto and the SCA's James Long as co-founders) and Company 605 renaming of PushOff, their annual collaborative programing series, to HOLD ON LET GO, which has a two-part run – PART I: January 23 – 27, 2024 and PART II: January 30 – February 2, 2024 – at The Russian Hall (600 Campbell Ave., Vancouver). Presented with ssupport from SFU Woodward's, the closing night of the 2023 edition of F O R M runs Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM in the Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema here at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts (149 W. Attention SCA students! The SCA Dance Student Union is hosting annual Winter Clothing Drive on Monday November 20th. We are looking for donations so if you are going through your stuff and have things to bring in please do. Our classes are in an area with a lot of poverty. The Narrow Bridge

SCA alumnus Keely O'Brien is calling for submissions to her "new cake-themed theatre project" in development through Theatre Replacement​’s COLLIDER residency, which "will culminate in a process presentation and cake tasting inspired by the cakes and the stories behind them at HOLD ON LET GO performance festival in January 2024." They're back! withintensions, the monthly art publication produced by SCA alumni Francisco Berlanga and Natalie Chan, are calling for submissions for their next issue on the theme of Form, with a deadline of November 27. Hastings St., Vancouver), for an artist talk by Berlanga and Chan and a tribute to Opal Mclean, the third founder and co-editor of withintensions, who tragically died in a car accident in July, 2023. For their work as withintensions, Berlanga, Chan, and Mclean are the inaugural recipients of the SCA Alumni Creative Production & Research Prize, which we'll be renaming to The Opal Mclean SCA Alumni Creative Production and Research Prize, or The Opal for short.
