SCA Dancing for the Food Bank

SCA alumni Samantha Presley, Charlotte Telfer-Wan, and Samantha Penner and their friend Troy McLellan have been performing free, public dance routines to help raise money for the Food Bank. Watch an excerpt HERE. And donate HERE.

SCA alumni Joni Cheung, who's currently working on her Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Ceramics at Concordia University, is part of Going Places, which "is a series of short audio pieces and accompanying texts narrating stories of different locations (physical and theoretical spaces)." Tedlie Stursberg's ATMOSPHERIC SUPPLY

SCA alumni Alex Tedlie Stursberg is starting a new project, ATMOSPHERIC SUPPLY: Activated Sculptures for the Home Environment, on Xmas day, supported by Canada Council for the Arts' Digital Originals initiative. Here's how he describes the project: "I will be releasing 10 videos through Instagram, my website and YouTube, each featuring a one hour stationary shot of an activated sculptural work, complete with ambient sounds. Similar to the classic Yule Log tv program, the videos presented in ATMOSPHERIC SUPPLY can be cast to a tv screen or monitor and will rest non-invasively in the background of your home." A Loscil mix for the longest night of the year

SCA alumni Scott Morgan, who produces electronic music under the name Loscil, compiled a special mix of "restrained music" for the winter solstice on Monday, December 21, 2020, which should play perfectly throughout the holidays. Listen to it HERE.
