Mexico/Canada, 2026, 8:30 min, Spanish and English, color, 16:9
Lightning strikes on a summer night, reflections of silhouettes wandering around a house. The radio informs current events of water politics between Mexico and the United States. The containment of the house is broken with a cowboy trying to drink water from a dry river. Still shots of drought in a dessert. The cowboys' clothing over a bed.

The camera dangles off the edge of a cliff as I try to pull myself away from it. Four audio/visual poems that attempt to fortify one another, while standing alone in their own light and darkness.

It’s the last day of vacation, and Mateo is enjoying the comfort of his home when he begins to fear coming back to school.
