Chambers and Simran Sachar’s Today is the evening to strike lightning / Aaj To Bijiliyan Girane Ki Shaam is being performed on November 22, 2025, as part of Ancestral Echoes, "an afternoon of dance and dialogue" from 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM at the Surrey Art Gallery (13750 – 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC), which is presented as part of the exhibition Kinesthesia: Body as Form (Chambers' Ten thousand times and one hundred more is also included in the exhibition), which runs to December 14, 2025, also at the Surrey Art Gallery. SCA alumnus Cindy Mochizuki is presenting a "one-night-only workshop presentation" of Mejiro! Mejiro! Stir on The East Van Panto: West Van Story
Read Stir Vancouver on Theatre Replacement's annual holiday show, The East Van Panto, this time presenting West Van Story, which runs November 19, 2025 – January 4, 2026, at The Cultch's York Theatre (639 Commercial Dr, Vancouver). Little Room Productions receive HYPE
Little Room Productions (SCA alumnus Eowynn Enquist and Isak Enquist) is the 2026 recipient of Murray Paterson Marketing Group’s HYPE Marketing Assistance Grant. As MPMG tell us, they'll "be supporting the world premiere of the company’s first full-length production, Fall(se) Cirque(us), on March 21, 2026, at the Roundhouse Community Centre, co-produced by New Works." Artwork by SCA alumnus Michelle Sound is featured on new posters from the Yellowhead Institute's promoting their new "comprehensive, interactive learning and teaching tool," The Treaty Map: Indigenous Perspectives on Treaties in Canada. New Works + interplay_arts = workshops
New Works, in collaboration with interplay_arts (which has SCA alumnus Caroline Chien-MacCaull as Artistic Producer), are presenting a series of artist workshops with Freya Björg Olafson, Chantal & Choo, and arya, who are all participants in interplay_2026, which runs online from January 8 – 11, 2026.
