The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival has announced their 2026 lineup, and it includes The Brutal Joy by the SCA's Justine A. Chambers (with sound by the SCA's Mauricio Pauly and lighting by James Proudfoot), WAIL by SCA alumnus Vanessa Goodman / Action at a Distance (with SCA alumni Anya Saugstad, Shion Skye Carter, and Marisa Gold as Artistic Performers, and SCA alumni Fay Nass as Dramaturge and Jack Chipman as Technical Director), and 2021 by Cole Lewis, SCA alumnus Patrick Blenkarn, and Sam Ferguson. Reading the Urban Revolution

Conversations and Essays on Dance in British Columbia book launch
The SCA's Peter Dickinson and Jane Gabriels co-edited Conversations and Essays on Dance in British Columbia: A Dance West Network Anthology, published by Dance Collection Danse Press/es, which is having a book launch on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, in the Djavad Mowafaghian World Art Centre here at the School for the Contemporary Arts (149 West Hastings St., Vancouver).
