Laiwan's Emily Award and talk

Congratulations to SCA alumni Laiwan for her just-announced 2021 "Emily Award" from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, which she'll receive on May 14, 2021, during ECU’s virtual 2021 Convocation ceremony. Coughlin Silverfox @ Capture

SCA @ Particle Castle Bubble Party!

Composer and musician Rodrigo Constanzo, who was a guest during last term's Sound Seminar run by the SCA's Music & Sound area, has a very good series of videos on his YouTube channel, called "Particle Castle Bubble Party!," where he has deep and interesting conversations with other music-making folks, including SCA students Barry Olusegun-Noble Despenza and Rohini Soedhwa. Theatre Replacement's Footnote Number 12

Theatre Replacement (founded by SCA alumni Maiko Yamamoto and James Long, and operated with SCA alumni Corbin Murdoch, Chelsea MacDonald, and Arthi Chandra) have just announced a "livestream" presentation of James Long and Andrea Spreafico's Footnote Number 12, featuring sound work by SCA alumni Nancy Tam, on April 23 at 8:00 PM & April 24 at 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM, from Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
