Goodman & Shaw's Graveyards and Gardens

Read some press for SCA alumni Vanessa Goodman (Action at a Distance) and Caroline Shaw's Graveyards and Gardens, which runs Thursday, January 28 & Friday, January 29, 2021 (4:30 PM & 7:30 PM (PST)), co-presented by Music on Main and the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival. Read it HERE.

SCA @ PushOFF 2021

There's great SCA representation in PushOFF 2021, including Popcorn Galleries (June Fukumura & Keely O'Brien), Amanda Sum, Lisa C. Ravensbergen, Jeanette Kotowich, Conor Wylie, Lucien Durey, Mahaila Patterson-O'Brien, Erika Mitsuhashi, and likely others on and off the screen. PushOFF 2021 is "an independently produced, artist-run curated platform of tour-ready work and projects in development," produced by Theatre Replacement in partnership with Company 605. The SCA's Wladimiro A. Woyno Rodriguez is presenting twice at the Associated Designers of Canada's Level Up: The Dramaturgy of Digital Performance & Design, which runs January 18 to February 15, 2021. You can join Wlad for I Am Alan Turing - Live Production Presentation and Discussion on Jan. 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM (PST) and Pier: Asserting Breath in Content Creation and Playback systems on Feb. 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM (PST). Chamale talks Tamales – and more!

SCA alumni Pedro Chamale (rice & beans theatre) has great press in Stir Vancouver (read it HERE) for his upcoming event Unscripted: Made in Canada, a "Digital Tamale Cooking & Conversation" presented by Playwrights Theatre Centre.
