Congratulations to SCA alumni Carr Sappier, who received funding from the CBC's Creative Relief Fund for the documentary short, SAKHI-PITIYAHTE (bright light comes forth from it). Read more HERE.

Pauly on scapegoat

The experimental saxophone and percussion duo scapegoat (Joshua Hyde and Noam Bierstone) perform the SCA's Mauricio Pauly's composition The Threshing Floor on their newly-released album Mauricio Pauly: The Threshing Floor – Santiago Díez Fischer: Plastic Disorder, which is out today on New Focus Recordings. As a plus, if you purchase the digital version via Bandcamp today (from midnight to midnight PDT), Bandcamp will donate 100% of their share of the sale to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, which is something they're also pledging to do annually to commemorate Juneteenth. SCA are Dancing on the Edge
