SCA wins the FCAT Heat

Big ups to SCA MFA student Giselle Liu, who is the First Prize Winner in the "FCAT Heat" of SFU's 3 Minute Thesis challenge. Watch it HERE. We'd also like to congratulate SCA alumni and current SIAT PhD student Cale Plut for his close second pitch. Watch it HERE. Bitter + Weber's new book

The SCA's Sabine Bitter and longtime collaborator Helmut Weber's book Bildungsmoderne / Educational Modernism was recently published by Edition Camera Austria in cooperation with adocs verlag + produktion. More HERE.

Aldazosa behind the scenes

SCA alumni (and our resident technician!) Paula Viitanen Aldazosa and her partner Juan Carlos Aldazosa Bazúa worked as Set Construction Coordinators & Builders on Josh Martin's (Artistic Co-Director of Company 605) Brimming, which is streaming April 29 & 30 at 7:00 PM and May 1 at 4:00 PM (PDT), as part of the 2021 Vancouver International Dance Festival.
