2022 FCAT Undergraduate Conference

Cuykendall's Floating Departures

Shannon Cuykendall, a frequent Sessional Instructor for the SCA and a PhD candidate and lecturer at SFU’s School of Interactive Arts + Technology, is presenting her work Floating Departures as part of the VI IMARP - Mostra Internacional de Dança - Imagens em Movimento online dance film festival. Our friends and colleagues in SFU Woodward's were profiled in The Georgia Straight, talking about their return to live events, including NEXT: New Dance in Development on December 15, 2021, which was co-produced by DanceHouse and 149 Arts Society, with support from the National Arts Centre, and featured SCA alumnus Shion Skye Carter.
